Set on Sliema's seafront promenade, the Roma Hotel is a 3-minute walk from the rocky beach. All rooms include a TV, fridge and tea/coffee-making facilities. Guests can enjoy breakfast on the terrace in the summer.

Hotel Roma is just a few steps from the many shops, restaurants and clubs of Sliema. The nearest sandy beaches are a 5-minute drive away by bus. The bus to Malta International Airport stops a few feet away.

A continental breakfast is served each morning in the lounge or on the terrace. It includes cereal, cold meats, cheese and jams. There is a bar in the lobby and the hotel’s restaurant is on the ground floor.

We have taken all the precautions for the safety of our guests: hand sanitizers, disinfection of accommodation, Air-Conditioner unit in every room,etc

Is there a shuttle available to get to the closest beach nearby? What are the other transportation options?

Either a taxi or to catch the bus number X2 which goes directly from Malta International Airport to Sliema. Our bus stop is called "Chalet".

I arrive around 11:30 pm on Dec 16. Is the reception still open after midnight?

Yes, our Reception is open 24 hours, so we will be happy to welcome you at any late hours during the night

Not arriving in malta untill 1am 15/9/2020 will this be a problem as I will then need to get from airport to hotel

Yes, we have a lift which goes up to all the rooms from the Reception level which is on the 1st floor. We only have 1 flight of stairs between the Entrance door and the Reception level, then you can take the lift up to all the rooms.

Location is superbe.
It’s an old hotel, old rooms, old everything. That type of hotel that receive remotes from reception :)

Location was excellent. Air conditioner, room size, and view made the room work out well, despite some issues.
The locks on the doors didn’t seem secure enough. Need to update their door locks and the patio door didn’t lock properly which was an issue since the balcony next door was adjacent to ours and they could’ve easily got into our room. The shower was much too small and bathroom needed an update. They need to get double beds because putting the single beds together did not function as well. Tv was too small and only had a few basic channels.
